If you are experiencing trouble with your internet connection, please follow these steps:

  • Find your modem. It will be connected to the coax cable from the wall.
  • Unplug your modem from the power by pulling the power cord from the back of the modem.
  • If you have a router, unplug the power from the back of your router. Leave it unplugged for now.
    • Wait 15 seconds.
  • Plug the power back into your modem.
    • Wait 15 seconds.
  • Plug the power back into your router, if you have one.
    • Wait 15 seconds.
  • Pull up or refresh your browser window to test your internet connection.
  • If you are still unable to pull up webpages, bypass your router by connecting your computer directly to the cable modem. Then, restart your computer.
